Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign in" in the top navigation and choose to sign in with Google or GitHub. No password required!

How do I run my first UX audit?

After signing in, go to the Dashboard and enter the URL of the website you want to audit. Click "Start Audit" and wait for the results. Typical runtime is ~40 seconds; heavy pages can take up to about 90 seconds.

What do the audit scores mean?

Audit scores range from 0-100 across categories like Performance, Accessibility, SEO, Visual Design, and Content Quality. Higher scores indicate better UX practices.

Features & Usage

Can I share audit results with my team?

Yes! Click "Share" on any audit to generate a shareable link. You can set an expiration date and make it public or private.

How do I export audit results?

Click "Export PDF" on any audit to download a comprehensive PDF report. Pro and Team tiers can customize report branding.

Can I compare multiple websites?

You can run multiple audits and review results side by side in your dashboard. Teams can use exports and API workflows for deeper comparisons.

Billing & Subscriptions

What's included in the free tier?

The free tier includes 3 audits per day with core scoring and an accessibility check—no credit card required. Upgrade for history, PDF exports, and deeper suggestions.

How do I upgrade my account?

Go to Settings → Billing and choose a plan (Pro, Team, or Enterprise). Payment is processed securely via Stripe.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes! Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for annual plans. Monthly plans are non-refundable but can be canceled anytime. Contact billing@vertaaux.ai for refund requests.

Technical Questions

What browsers are supported?

VertaaUX works on all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend the latest version for best performance.

Can I audit password-protected sites?

Yes, authenticated and protected environments are supported for eligible plans with guided setup. Contact support if your flow requires custom authentication handling.

How accurate are the audit results?

Audits blend rule-based checks (WCAG-inspired), heuristics, and AI summaries. They reliably surface common accessibility and clarity issues, but you should validate critical flows with your own analytics and user testing.

Do you store my audit data?

We store audit results for your convenience but don't store the actual website content. You can delete audits anytime from your dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Account & Security

How do I reset my password?

VertaaUX uses OAuth authentication (Google/GitHub), so there's no password to reset. If you lose access to your OAuth account, contact support@vertaaux.ai.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account and click "Delete Account". This will permanently delete all your data within 30 days.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3, AES-256) and follow GDPR/CCPA compliance. See our Security page for details.
