Tips for Keyboard Navigation
Get the most out of keyboard-only usage

Visual Focus Indicators

All interactive elements show a visible focus ring when navigated with the keyboard. If you lose track of where you are, press Tab to see the focus indicator move.

Press Tab once on any page to reveal the "Skip to main content" link. This saves you from tabbing through the entire navigation menu on every page.

Form Validation

When a form has validation errors, the error messages are announced to screen readers automatically. Errors also appear visually below the relevant input field.

Breadcrumb Navigation

Organization pages include breadcrumb trails at the top. Use Tab to navigate through breadcrumb links to quickly jump to parent pages.

Accessibility Features
Additional accessibility support built into VertaaUX

  • Reduced Motion Support: Respects your operating system's "reduce motion" preference
  • Semantic HTML: Proper heading structure, landmarks, and ARIA labels throughout
  • Keyboard Accessible: 100% of functionality available via keyboard - no mouse required
